Karly Anderson

Karly started training dogs through the 4H Dog Project in 2008, where she participated in Rally, along with some showmanship and obedience, until she graduated from 4H.  Karly also has a formal education in animal science; she completed her BS at the University of Wisconsin – River Falls (Animal Science), MS at the University of Minnesota (Veterinary Medicine), and PhD at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln (Animal Science) with a focus on animal welfare and behavior.  Currently, Karly works with the Washington County 4H Dog Project as an instructor and enjoys teaching companion dog classes at The Greater Dog.  She has a cattle dog mix named Darla, and they enjoy Rally, Agility, GRC, and FastCAT together – as well as working on fitness and cooperative care for fun!
