Sport and Enrichment Classes

Run! Jump! Tunnell! Weave! The Agility Foundation Series will introduce you and your dog to the sport of Agility. You will start out with basic handling skills and move on to equpment introduction and course strategy.

Nosework starts with working boxes/containers both inside and outside, then phases out boxes and work interiors and exteriors. Focus is on building up independent, confident dog and hunt drive fun and building handlers observation skills.

Treibball is an exciting new dog sport reminiscent of soccer. The goal is for the person and the dog to work as a team. The handler directs the dog from a distance around a set of balls to push them into a goal one by one.

Rally Obedience takes the skills you learned in Middle School, add a couple of tricks and away you'll go!

We follow the Fenzi T.E.A.M. program to develop your dog's foundational skills for all dog sports, focusing specifically on obedience skills. No longer is it just Novice/Open/Utility Obedience class, we learn all obedience skills from the ground up!

We have two classes for Dog Show folks - a regular drop-in class on Wednesday evenings and twice a year we offer a Handling Foundations class. This class is for new participants in the world of dog showing or for those who need a brush-up with a new show dog! We will help build your performance from the ground up so you and your dog can enter the ring confident and prepared!

Have fun with your dog and learn some tricks! Over the six weeks we will learn many tricks and you will have the opportunity to earn your AKC Novice and Intermediate Trick Dog titles!

Therapy Dog class covers everything from dog handling to visiting protocols so you will be prepared for your evaluation and ready to go out and visit! Class will also require outside reading and written homework in addition to training your dog.
